Arrive at Omaruru in the late afternoon and pitch camp before enjoying the sunset antics of animals at the waterhole.

We visit Spitzkoppe which is one of the most photographed mountain motifs in Namibia for a good reason. The Landscape is beautiful and has been admired by humans for thousands of years. Proof of this is visible by the hundreds of rock paintings in the area. 

We stretch our legs on a 1-2 hour walk around the fascinating granite formations in the area.

During the afternoon we make our way to Brandberg and the land of  our unique Desert adapted elephants.

The impressive Brandberg reaches a height of 2573m and is home to abundant wildlife that has a very unique lifestyle living in the Desert .

We get to know the wildlife by tracking the desert Elephants through the arid gorges.

Siesta during the hottest hours.

in the afternoon we got to know the one of thousands of rock paintings that are found on the mountain and show the long and diverse human history.

After breakfast and packing up camp, we depart for Windhoek +/- 500 km away which we reach around lunch time.
