Arrive in the afternoon, pitch camp under the outstretched branches of a camel thorn tree and go for a short sunset walk before enjoying sundowners at camp.

We start with an early morning hike in order to read the local “bush-newspaper”, meaning we look for tracks and signs that animals left during the night, giving us an insight into the lives of these creatures of the desert.

The hot hours of the day we spend at camp and go for an afternoon walk to the nearby Music Mountain where we enjoy sundowners and a sunset colour spectacle. 

A hearty breakfast prepares us for a long transfer day, 360 km to Fish River Canyon or 450 km to Windhoek.
