namibia

Namibia is a land of contrasts, the surreal landscapes of the southern and western  areas juxtaposed with the Atlantic Ocean and green riverine forests along the mighty northern rivers; one on its way to the ocean, the other heading to the insatiable Kalahari sand in Botswana.

World renowned for national parks with an abundance of wildlife, Namibia is a paradise for safari enthusiasts and photographers alike.

Since a time when nomadic San tribes carved maps and stories in stone, the Namibian people developed over thousands of years as new people and tribes from all over the world were drawn to this enigmatic land, calling it home, prepared to sacrifice their lives for it.

During highs and lows, floods and drought; through war and peace, forgiveness and reconciliation, the Namibian people were welded together into a proud nation.
